From The Ground Up Coffee House was established in 2000 on Wisconsin Rapid’s historic Grand Avenue, situated just two blocks west of the beautiful Wisconsin River.
Owner Bob Schultz invites you to stop in for a cup of freshly roasted, brewed coffee. Atomic Joe’s Coffee is roasted each week in the roasting room located here at From The Ground Up, then fresh ground just before brewing. Which means you are served the freshest coffee available in Wisconsin Rapids.
Atomic Joe’s Coffee is a licensed Fair Trade Certified Roaster specializing in organic fair trade certified and flavored coffees. A variety of coffee and coffee and tea related merchandize is available for sale.
You will find the From The Ground Up atmosphere to be a welcoming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or relaxing with a good book. The unique décor of the coffee house includes life-size Chicago Blue’s Brothers, 1969 VW Van, artwork from local artists, variety of books, along with vintage coffee cups, grinders, pots, tins and coffee signs. Wireless internet service is available for use with your personal laptop or by using our PC.
From The Ground Up is conveniently located blocks from the Wisconsin River, Ahdawagam Bicycle and Walking Trails, Rapids Mall, Mead Inn Hotel and Convention Center, Stora Enso North America Corporate Offices and other Grand Avenue business and professional services.
